Nathaniel "Nat" Adderley - (November 25, 1931 – January 2, 2000) An American jazz cornet and trumpet player who played in the hard bop and soul jazz genres. He was the brother of saxophonist Julian "Cannonball" Adderley, whom he remained very close to in his career but whose shadow Nat followed in for most of his life.

Oscar Brashear - (born August 18, 1944, Chicago, Illinois) An American jazz trumpeter[1] and session musician. Jazz trumpet great who started his career in the Count Basie Band of 1968 and also played with Earth, Wind & Fire throughout the 1970s and into the 80s.
